INTRODUCTION
– A covenant can be defined as doing what must be done so as to commit God to do what He says.
– A covenant is a term between 2 or more people – Gen 26:1-13, John 2:3-5.
WHAT IS BLESSING IN THIS CONTEXT?
– Blessing is not an entity but an aura that surrounds somebody.
– Blessing is not a material but an impartation you can call power.
– Blessing is not a possession but a territory.
– Blessing is a force that is surrounding a person.
– Blessing attract positive things.
– Blessing determines the speed of accomplishment of an individual.
– Blessing can be compared to a spiritual catalyst.
WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT THE BLESSING OF THE LORD
• The blessing of the lord terminates dry seasons practically, spiritually and physically, Psa.1:3 Psa. 112:2-6.
• Blessing of the lord speed up the rate of your success at work in the works of your hand genesis 39:2.
• It secures generational order of blessings and it impact to your children.
• It secures access to light in the midst of darkness – Psa. 112:4.
• It enhances supernatural insights – Psa.112:5.
• It renders your enemies helpless – Psa. 112:8&10.
CHARACTERISTICS OF GODS BLESSINGS
I. It is irreversible in nature – num. 23:20.
II. It sorrow-free – prov. 10:22.
III. It is compassionate and liberal – Gen 13:1-12.
IV. It is fear free – Psa.112:7-8.
HOW TO COME UNDER BLESSINGS OF GOD
1. By proven new birth experience – Act 3:6.
2. Through a life of obedience – Deut. 28:1-3.
3. Through an effective alter of prayer.
4. Through our tithing.
5. Through kingdom advancement giving.
