INTRODUCTION:
Our walk with God is a spiritual walk hence the reason why we need the Holy Spirit.
THE SPIRIT OF SANCTIFICATION:
The fulfillment of our destiny is a product of our walk of Holiness.
WHAT IS SANCTIFICATION?
1. A state of being made Holy, cleansed from all impurities that can hinder our walk with God.
– Sanctification is what define the fulfillment of destiny.
2. It is a state of being free from sin and guilt. Rom. 8:1, 1:4, 2 Tim. 3:1-5
– We are redeemed to be Holy however we need the help of the Holy Spirit to make this a reality.
– The Holy Spirit is the one that help us to be free from sin and guilt.
– The guilt of sin can destroy the boldness of a believer.
– The Holy Spirit have the ability to help us live above sin. 1 Peter 1:16, Rom. 1:4, 1 Tim. 4:7-8
Our walk of sanctification is what defines our posterity.
WHAT IS POSTERITY
• Posterity are the things that impart on your life when you don’t have the strength to make impact, they await us in the future.
• Posterity is our future that we have no capacity to control. Gen. 26:4-5
– Let your posterity caution your temptation
– When our thoughts are generational in nature, we will overcome the calculation of sins.
– There is an outpouring of the spirit of holiness in the end time church. Rom. 8:6
COVENANT DEMANDS TOWARDS LIVING A SANCTIFIED LIFE:
1. Continue to watch and pray so as not to fall into temptation. Matt. 6:6, 6:9/13, Rom. 8:26-27
– If you don’t know where you stand, you can fall for anything.
– Live your life deliberately.
– Set standards for your life.
– If you lack standard, you lack principles.
2. One must crave for the enduement of the spirit of Holiness. John 7:37-39, Rom. 8:13
– Temptation comes to the believer but the Holy Spirit helps to mortify it.
3. We must desire the nature of God.
– One cannot manifest the nature that he does not possess and the major source of embodying this nature is through the Word of God.
– The more you stay in the Word, your nature begins to be altered.
COVENANT DAY OF MARITAL SETTLEMENT
It is your entitlement in Christ to have a peaceful and joyful marriage. Psa. 68:6
To actualize our marital destiny:
1. We must be saved and remain so. John 3:3
2. Seek light in the area of darkness in the marital challenge you are going through.
3. Obey Gods instructions. Eph. 5:25
