INTRODUCTION:
· When God guides there is no possibilities for error because divine guidance is always error free. Prov. 30:30
· No one outgrows divine direction.
· The lion depends on strength, while the sheep depend on the Shepherd so that the sheep doesn’t go hungry. Psa. 23:1
WHY IS GOD INTERESTED IN LEADING US:
1. Life is so large that if one is not guided one can easily be lost. Deut. 9:10-11, 32:12-13
THE COVENANT TRUTH AS REGARD OUR DESTINY
1. We are redeemed as people of vision. Jer. 29:11, Gen. 11:31, 12:1-3, Hab. 2:2, Joel 2:7, James 1:22-25
2. When we refuse to take steps, vision becomes a mirage. James 1:22-25, Prov. 4:18
3. Destiny is not satan determined, nothing is permitted to put a limit on our destiny. Prov. 4:18
4. Destiny is inexhaustible. 1 Cor. 2:9
5. Every vision usually starts as nothing, divine direction is what gives glory to a vision. Isa. 60:22
6. Every divine direction will always take one forward in life.
7. Following divine guidance guarantees our arrival to our desired destination in life. Isa. 46:9-10
8. Only God knows tomorrow as glaring as today and the end from the beginning, so following divine guidance is key. Isa. 26:9-10, Exo. 13:17-18
BENEFITS OF DIVINE GUIDANCE
1. It allays all fears. Exod. 3:10, 4:22-23, Psa. 118:6, 23:1/5
2. It secures supernatural victory. 2 Sam. 5:19-26, Josh. 6:1-20
3. It is always well with the led. Jer. 7:23, Deut. 5:32-33
– God only goes with the led, if God be for us, who can be against us. Luke 10:17-19, Rom 8:21
COVENANT DAY OF FAVOUR
· Divine favour as a force that makes men to assist you. 1 Chron. 12:22
· A hundred years of labor can never be compared to one day of favour with God.
· When favour is added to your credentials it makes you influential.
· Favor is what makes you prosper in all that you do. Gen. 29:22-23, 29:16-18, Esther 2:16-17
· Favor makes you receive without asking. Psa. 44:3
HOW TO PROVOKE FAVOUR FROM GOD
1. Be born again and remain so. Psa. 5:12
– Until you are born again, you cannot enjoy favour of God.
2. You must have a heart panting for God and His Kingdom. Psa. 102:13-15
3. Stay in love with God. 1 Sam. 13:14
4. Walk in obedience to God’s instructions. Deut. 28:4-6
